Slewing Range Davits
All SARBE/H/F range are designed for a 20° list and 10° trim conditions, ABS certification is standard and other classification societies are available on request.
The SASD davits are designed for shore-based operations for inshore rescue boat stations and for training purposes. These davits are provided with both power hoist/lower as well as full manual operation. Falls Tensioning is also provided to allow all weather operations.
Many of these davits are installed in remote locations and operate in adverse weather environments. Operations are sometimes conducted with rescue volunteers so the attention to simplicity and minimal maintenance have been designed into the system. Davit head and area lighting is fitted to the davits as well as vandal proof guards.
The SARBE series offers a low installation impact and features both electric hoist with gravity lowering, power/hoist and power lower options. The slewing is by electric motor and / or manual operation.
The Sarbe 8A is a self-contained all electric slewing davit that has a safe working load of up to 1,600kg and can be supplied with a fixed slewing radius of 3.2 to 5.6M. Changes in the overall height of the davit can be considered for restricted installation.
For weight sensitive applications like fast ferries the SARBE F version is available in a high-quality marine grade aluminium and stainless steel for superior durability.
The SARBE series davit offers further variants including the “C” version that allows both the vertical post and winch to remain stationary whist the arm rotates providing 360° operation.
This unique davit design is for restricted installation envelopes and allows the davit to be placed against the vessel structure or at the deck edge. The davit has a “zero” tail radius.
The SARBE 8 C is a self-contained all electric slewing davit that has a safe working load of up to 1,400 kg / 3,086 lbs.
The SARB (E/H) 1.0A & 1.3A offers both electric and hydraulic operation and is supplied with a self-contained power pack with accumulator with a safe working load of up to 1,400 kg / 3,086 lbs with a 70° slew angle.
The standard winch is power hoist / gravity lower with power lower / hoist is available as an option.
PIV 3.0 / PIV 4.0
The PIV 3.0 / PIV 4.0 davit is a fully self-contained “palletized” system. The safe working load of up to 4,000 kg (8,818 lbs) makes it ideal for the operation of RIBs in the 5.5 to 7.5M range.
The PIV 3.0 / PIV 4.0 reduce the installation impact to either new builds or existing vessels. The davit has integrated power pack / accumulators that are factory installed with the complete electrical system.
Integrated into the davit, the boat stowage device can be configured for most hull forms. The performance of this davit can be enhanced with all electric / electronic falls tension, shock absorber and anti-pendulum RIB docking frame.
