The MBHS is built to withstand harsh marine conditions and complies with the latest classification standards, ensuring safe and reliable operations.
Our handling systems are built to adapt across the full service life of your vessel, accommodating new mission modules and evolving operational needs without costly redesigns.
This through-life adaptability protects your investment, supports long-term readiness, and keeps your platform relevant as missions change.
Launch and Retrieval While Underway
Operations rarely wait for calm waters. Our systems support launch and retrieval while underway, even in high sea states, for:
- Manned small boats
- Unmanned surface vehicles (USVs)
- Unmanned underwater vehicles (UUVs)
- Manned submersibles
This capability keeps crews and assets moving when timing and conditions matter most.
Dockside Loading and Unloading
When alongside the pier, the system streamlines the movement of heavy and varied cargo, including:
- TEU containers
- Munitions
- Other cargo such as pallets and miscellaneous shipboard items
The result is faster turnaround, efficient resupply, and reduced time in port.
Handling Within the Mission Bay
Inside the mission bay, the system manages a broad mix of items both dockside and at sea.
Dockside handling covers boats, UxVs, TEUs, cargo, maintenance items, and miscellaneous equipment.
At-sea handling supports boats, UxVs, and small equipment, giving crews the ability to manage assets while the vessel operates. Please note that slewing restrictions apply during at-sea operations to maintain safe handling.
Marshalling (Rescue) Boat Launch
Safety remains a priority in every operation. The system includes a Marshalling (Rescue) Boat Launch capability, supporting rapid deployment when it counts most.
