Propulsion Expertise Perfected for Naval Platforms

With over 50 years of experience in designing and developing propellers, we deliver solutions tailored to a wide range of requirements. Our Controllable Pitch, Fixed Pitch, and Fixed Bolted Pitch propellers are engineered for exceptional hydrodynamic efficiency, enhancing vessel performance and stealth—critical for naval operations.

Propeller Solutions

Controllable Pitch Propellers (CPP):

  • Custom blade designs optimized for speed, performance, and noise requirements.
  • Designed for underwater blade change-out.
  • Available for standard speeds (below 30 knots) and high speeds (above 30 knots).

Fixed Pitch Propellers (FPP):

  • Engineered for ultimate stealth, suppressing cavitation for high propulsive efficiency.
  • Ideal for anti-submarine warfare and other critical naval applications.

Fixed Bolted Propellers (FBP):

  • Designed for applications like icebreakers, allowing individual blade change-out.
  • Noise reduction achieved with the option to bolt blades from inside the hub—perfect for fishery platforms.

Advanced Waterjet Technology

Our waterjets are specialized for naval applications and can be customized for unique requirements such as signature reduction and shock resistance.

The U.S. Navy’s Littoral Combat Ship Freedom-variant is equipped with four advanced Axial Mk1 waterjets, each rated to absorb 22MW of power.
The Axial Mk1 waterjet design has been scaled for other U.S. Navy programs, including Sealion (Special Operations test craft) and the X-Class USV program MUSCL.
Shock-tested to meet U.S. military specifications.

Proven Performance

  • Over 500 Controllable Pitch Propellers supplied to the U.S. Coast Guard and U.S. Navy.
  • Designed to meet naval and military requirements, including vibration and air control.
  • Successful, well-proven designs in operation worldwide.
